I have tried a mainline kernel from the mainline kernel ppa: 2.6.29-02062904-generic #02062904 SMP The crash is the same.
Before, on the standard Jaunty kernel, I tried removing linux-backports- modules-jaunty, that changed nothing. Also, when I removed all modules I could (modprobe -r from the console), the crash did not manifest itself. It showed that what happens after 5-10 mn with my program (the compilation job that saturates the processor) is that the program crashes with a segmentation fault. This shows in kern, log: May 22 20:44:56 arturo kernel: [ 1068.876723] ocamlc.opt[4145]: segfault at 141a8008 ip 081709fb sp bfc58934 error 4 in ocamlc.opt[8048000+138000] -- kernel lockup after ~10mn of sustained processor load https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379153 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
