I also just have reported the bug tonight with a crash report. I have compiled it (0.4.1) from sources on edgy powerpc, ./configure && make && make install, no warning nor error, installed (by default) into /usr/bin/ (the icon hardinfo in application menu disappeared, replaced by "system information (hardinfo)"). After compiled : same behavior = crash for processor, pci, usb etc.
