Public bug reported:
for the 3rd time today, my desktop freezes. nothing works except for the
mouse - the monitor applets freeze, i can't switch to the virtual
terminal, ctrl-alt-backspace does nothing etc.
i'm running jaunty with thunderbird, gnome terminal, firefox, eclipse,
vmware-server and rdesktop.

2009 i686 GNU/Linux
unlike another OS, i don't even get a BSOD, so i can't add any
information to this bug except that it is very critical as i keep
loosing work
