I don't think this bug is ATI specific. It could be a bug in jockey itself. I have an NVIDIA card and i'm using the NVIDIA proprietatry driver. However jockey does not list any driver and reports that there are no proprietary drivers installed on my system. jockey-gtk --list returns nothing.
