Since posting the workaround (I owe a late thank you to Alexandre Racine for posting the fix that really worked) I have moved to a fresh install of 64bit Jaunty, that offers digikam 0.10.0, and I don't see any problem: trash is handled correctly on my system.
Also, I tried deleting the entry in ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals altogether and the trash is still handled correctly, just as Jonathan Thomas was suggesting. Don't know about the kdebase-kio-plugins package that Patrick Meidl mentions, not only it is not installed on my system, but I can't find it at all in my Jaunty repositories. Patrick, do you have the latest digikam 0.10? -- digikam expects trash to be in ~/Desktop/Trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292672 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
