I dont see anything that says windows on this bug outside of your comment. It is likely a new profile will fix this or running it in safe mode. However he was the reporter of the bug that marked it invalid so it was related to something other than thunderbird. If you still have issues with this please report a new bug on it This is after trying. disable all extensions try with a new profile maybe try running the following in terminal: firefox --safe-mode and see if it helps
