Public bug reported:

When I add the hard disk option to the system monitor panel applet I
always get 0% disk usage display. I use an lvw encrypted drive with an
unencrypted boot partition and the rest in one large lvm volume which is
split into root, home and swap. See screenshots for details. I would
expect the applet to display a visual representation of the current disk
size and how much of it is used. Instead I get "0% in use" all of the
time.

Version is Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 installed from DVD and gnome-system-
monitor 2.26.0.1-0ubuntu1

Is there any way to display not overall disk usage but disk activity in
the system monitor? That's what I'm looking for but the feature is
broken anyway.
