Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flpsed
Ubuntu Jaunty package of flpsed appears to not allow entry or editing of Hungarian double-acute characters. In particular, copying characters via the X buffer from gnome-character-map does not work. This is quite possibly an upstream bug, but there are various upstream versions, and I do not know which versions this might apply to. It clearly applies to the Ubuntu Jaunty package, however. Hungarian double-acute include the following: ő ű $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 $ LC_ALL=en_US.UTF8 apt-cache policy flpsed flpsed: Installed: 0.5.1-2 Candidate: 0.5.1-2 Version table: *** 0.5.1-2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: flpsed (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Hungarian double-acute not usable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
