Hi Andy, we definitely need to have your Xorg.0.log and your gdm logs
(from /var/log/gdm) after reproducing the issue, so we know what error
is occurring. I've seen bug reports on this chipset where they were
definitely able to get past this point, so wonder if it might be
something particular to your system configuration.
