Public bug reported: Binary package hint: exim4
I'd like to use py-exim-localscan: http://barryp.org/software/py-exim-localscan/ to run a python local_scan function, but I'd have to recompile and I'm not sure what ./configure options, procedures, etc, were used to create the exim4-heavy package. Can we repackage exim4 in such a way that recompile isn't necessary? Can we add/create a python patch so that users aren't stuck with perl/C. Is it just a cheap trick to use perl to call a python file? If that's possible, I imagine it'd be very slow compared to compile-time support. I'm very new to exim4, but it's EXCELLENT so far :)) Cheers, Yonas ** Affects: exim4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- local_scan https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378307 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
