Erk - I think this is also it won't turn the fan on either if it needs to sometimes unless I do the acpi -t I noticed it was very warm; acpi -t showed 70 C - but then the fan started and it's coming right down.
If it isn't starting the fan when it needs then this is serious! I'm fairly sure I never saw this prior to Jaunty.
