Yes, the scenario is reproducible on my primary account, as I did not test it on the secondary account I created. I opened nautilus to access a network folder to copy some files on my local drive. It showed the file copying progress window which means that the file transfer process in ongoing, I tried closing the network folder but it refreshed the entire desktop area and canceling the file transfer/copy process. My solution was to leave the network folder windows open so as not to interrupt the data transfer.
