Public bug reported:
"the backend took too much time to process the synchronous
request-you need to fork!" This is the message I receive everytime I update.
Using the latest version of Jaunty Jackalope for Kubuntu. System also crawls
at a snail's pace since I upgraded my system; harddrive LED stays lit
constantly since the upgrade.
