Hello, at last I can contribute something to the group responsible for
an amazing Distro of Linux....first, excellent excellent job....and I am
SO glad to be out of Microsoft!!!!!
Secondly, this is the data collected from an attempt to install an HP
Deskjet 3820 through the printer installation menu. Jaunty 'found' my
deskjet, and seems to have installed it, however when I clicked on
'print a test page' it just hung up.....the printer brought in a piece
of paper, and after several moments it passed it through without
printing any characters on the page, I then asked it to diagnose the
problem, after several minutes the printer seemed to reset (all lights
returning to normal idle status) and the following report was
provided....hope this helps someone! Other than this small
inconvenience, Jaunty works very well on my older computer (Pentium III
Intel Coppermine processor; 512 Meg Ram; approx 900 mhz processor speed)
