Public bug reported: I get the following message when I try and install libxine1-ffmpeg using Synaptic package manager:
Depends: libxine1-bin (=1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3) but 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3.4 is to be installed I first installed Amarok (also using Synaptic package manager) when I tried to play music Amarok prompted me: "There was an error installing MP3 support. You need to install the package "libxine1-ffmpeg" manually. libxine1-ffmpeg:" I had recently updated my Kernel, so I am not sure of that was connected. I am upgraded to 8.04 Hardy Heron I think my previous version was 6 point something. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- libxine1-ffmpeg dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
