I found a quazi workaround. Install ndiswrapper using Build Install.
Reboot Activate b43legacy under Hardware Manager Reboot This made so I could connect to open networks at full speed. There is no encryption support however. So far I have not been able to get the encryption working with ndiswrapper. It seems b43legacy initializes the device and ndiswrapper takes over from there. I don't know if that is what is happening, but it seems to be. Hopefully the Ubuntu team can get this working without ndiswrapper! -- B43 Legacy in Jaunty connecting only at 1Mb or less https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
