Just tried OpenVPN on Jaunty - no problem here. NetworkManager with OpenVPN plugin Type: Cerificates (TLS) provided the 3 files for User, CA and Private Key, typed in my password everything else left at default (will try setting routes sometime) Worked out of the box (Jaunty upgraded from hardy after release) No PPAs - everything (NM, plugin) from jaunty repo.
I can also confirm that the PPTP plugin works again with Jaunty (I skipped Intrepid because if this - gotta love live CDs :-) ) -- VPN connection fails: "unable to find valid VPN secrets" (auth dialog crash when secrets exist) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284212 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
