I installed the packages ubuntustudio-desktop, ubuntustudio-audio, ubuntustudio-video (and their dependencies) on top of an ubuntu jaunty install..
When I select the real-time kernel at boot time (via grub menu) - vmlinuz-2.6.28-3-rt - I see a similar behaviour.
