It is bad wording but is unlikely to be fixed anytime soon. I've just added a workaround tip (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=100) but while it awaits moderation. Here it is in short -
Edit the application menu and add the custom menu you want at the bottom.
