Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu 9.04 x64 clean install (specially created main and swap partitions). Installed uswsusp 0.8-1.1ubuntu3 and splashy 0.3.13-3ubuntu2~ppa4 packages. s2disk works well but doesn't want to show splash screen. It says "Looking for splash system... none" while creating image and resuming. But splashy is correctly installed and works well while starting up computer or shutting it down.
