** Summary changed: - global slow down when both external power supply and wifi + [IGP 330M] global slow down when both external power supply and wifi
** Description changed: On my laptop i can be either with externam power supply or with my batteries with no problem. I can also be connected to a network or not with no problem. I CAN NOT be connected to both and keep a usable computer. Everything gets back fine once i disconnect the power supply or the network adaptator. I noticed with top command that when the system is very slow, xorg seems to use really much CPU than it does usually with no particular reason. I suspect that a featuredealing with the network and only alowed to work when a power supply is connected is buggy but i can not find out wich one. It is not apt-check nor the indexation since i deactivated it. I use jaunty with the last updates. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: ATI Technologies Inc RS200/RS200M AGP Bridge [IGP 340M] [1002:cab2] (rev 02) + 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon IGP 330M/340M/350M [1002:4337] -- [IGP 330M] global slow down when both external power supply and wifi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338732 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
