The only modification made to smb.conf was the line "use client driver = yes" inside the [printer] section.
This is because Windows PCs show "access denied, unable to connect" for the shared printer. I got the solution to this problem from http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-networking-3/samba-client- access-denied-unable-to-connect-122851/ That is another bug that needs fixing.
