Unfortunately I don't have Edgy now at hand, but I have Debian unstable
with konqueror 3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5. And I would say that the problem is
still observable there, nowever now I do not see KJS items in backtrace
stacks. One Konqueror window with 15..20 tabs easily consumes 20..30% of
CPU time (on Duron 1800) and also increases load on its X server,
despite that all moving graphics (animated GIFs, Flash) are hidden
outside of windows borders.
I am sending you the exact URL list opened in those tabs, so you could
reproduce it on KDE/Edgy and/or compare with other browsers like
Seamonkey or whatever :
