Public bug reported:

Running Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.3 amd64.
Using the audiocd kioslave in Jaunty to rip a CD is extremely slow:
The ripping of a CD with 12 tracks takes almost 4 hours. I tried this on
different PCs with either Kubuntu Intrepid with KDE 4.2.2 or Jaunty with KDE
4.2.3.
The speed doesn't change notably whether I choose ogg, mp3 or wav as the target
format.
Also, once a CD rip is completed and the CD removed, the kioslave stays open
and hogs almost 80% of the CPU. It has to be killed manually every time,
closing Dolphin doesn't kill it as it should.

** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
