Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vlc-nox
When watching video (confirmed with several but most testing with avi files), after opening, set check off always on top, let file complete, or close 'VLC (XVideo output)' window, drag new file to the VLC control window, the always on top setting is no longer in effect. If you double click the output window to go full screen, then double click it again and the window returns to normal size, the always on top setting is active again. Expected behavior would be for the always on top setting to persist when opening another video file with the same player-control session (until closing VLC). Please let me know if you want information. eg - screen show showing 'Always On Top' checked, with other windows partially obscuring the video output window. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 $ apt-cache policy vlc-nox vlc-nox: Installed: 0.9.9a-2ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.9.9a-2ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.9.9a-2ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/multiverse Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- VLC 'Always On Top' setting doesn't persist https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/375854 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
