Public bug reported:

On my desktop PC, the focus switches rapidly between overlapping
windows. This seems to start when I move my mouse from one window to
another if those windows overlap. I can stop this behavior by maximizing
one of the windows or clicking on one of the title-bars.

Incorrect behavior occurs when focus policy is "Focus follows mouse",
"follows under mouse" or "focus strictly under mouse". Correct behaviour
when focus policy is "Click to focus".

I have an ATI Radeon 9600, and i use the 'ati' X-driver. I also tried
the fglrx-driver, but then it occurs as well. On my notebook PC,
everything behaves correctly. (X-driver: i810)

This behaviour was introduced in Kubuntu Dapper since upgrading to KDE
3.5.5, and in Edgy it also occurs.

Working combinations:
Dapper + KDE 3.5.4 + ati
Dapper + KDE 3.5.x + i810
Edgy + KDE 3.5.x + i810

Non-working combinations:
Dapper + KDE 3.5.5 + ati
Edgy + KDE 3.5.5 + ati
Edgy + KDE 3.5.5 + fglrx

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
