I was experimenting a lot with all the kernel params year or two ago, all to no avail - resume doesn't work properly at all. My screen blanking is without any problem, set via gnome power management to 25 minutes and it works just fine. Never had any problem with it. Hibernate works like charm as well (since 8.04, maybe?)
Following this post http://torvalds-family.blogspot.com/2008/12/life-is- good-again.html , I really look forward to 2.6.29 kernel upgrade in Jaunty, which should (hopefully) bring an end to this suspend/resume nightmare. ... wish that it was coming soon. Anyone out there willing to test 2.6.29 PPA? -- [intrepid] IBM ThinkPad R31 failed ACPI resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/302826 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
