Hi I am running 8.04 LTS and I really would like to see this bug resolved / the package updated. It is really annoying and makes the kdepim stuff almost unusable. This bug, however, does not seem specific to ubuntu but stemming from the kdepim suite itself (version 3.5.9 it seems).
