Sorry to hear that, Ayush. I just reinstalled Intrepid x64 from disc, added all updates from the default repos and one (and _only_ one) package from the backports repo (linux-backports-modules-intrepid) and everything is still working. At one point in the process, things stopped working, but both wireless and suspend/hibernate are working now.
