Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
I installed Kubuntu 9.04 today after using one of the pre-release version of it, and the touchpad doesn't have any of the extra functions it used to, like the virtual scroll wheel. Scrolling suddenly disappeared in the last week or so whilst I was using the pre-release so I just figured it had randomly broken and that a reinstall would fix it. >From what i can tell, it looks as though it is being recognised as a generic PS/2 mouse. I have followed the instructions located on the wiki for reporting this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection Any help would be appreciated with this issue.
