Public bug reported: Older Dell dimension 2350. Broadcom 440 nic Dual boot Ubuntu 9.04 and windows xp. Both fresh installs. From a cold start( ac unplugged), windows boots, network connection ok. Restart and boot ubuntu, everything works fine. Restart and boot windows. get "network cable unplugged " message, and no network connection. Shut down, unplug ac. replug ac and reboot windows network is good again. Same happens when I boot from live CD
