** Description changed:

- New install of Ubuntu 9.04 , has worked for a week.
-  On a reboot complete system wide reset seems to have occurred!
- The only evidence of work done after clean install is  new apps, updates, 
printers, installed remain.
- ALL docs,downloads, Emails (including settings) stickies, Mozilla favs and 
settings, home page, etc, etc, are all gone!  arrrrrrr!
+ On reboot system reset has occurred!
+ Ubuntu 9.04 ,installed on clean HD has worked for a week.
+ New apps, updates, printers, installed remain.
+ ALL docs,downloads, Emails (including settings) stickies, Mozilla favs and
