Thanks for that! Found the problem in the same log. In 8.10 a script was required to bring the wireless connection back up when coming out of suspend on the Acer Aspire One, this script (/etc/pm/sleep.d/00wireless) was causing an error on resume with 9.04. I've taken the script out and suspend/resume now appears to be working just fine, complete with wireless connection.
