Hi, I am the main developer of Vazaar. I don't know why www.kaskaras.net is gone.
The project is not abandoned. It has been refounded as The Vazaar Project. You can check the code here in launchpad at https://launchpad.net/vazaar. There is not a stable release yet. I hope to release the first beta in one month or two. Previous version of vazaar was coded in C and used XML technologies. Now, the project is codec in python and using RDF and other semantic web technologies. Please, wait for a release sooner than later. I'll need help to make a package.
