@juhuu, can you please attach the output of "tail --lines=5000 /var/log/dpkg.log"?
Also, can you uninstall only the 3.1 update and see if that issue goes away again? If you havn't cleaned out your apt cache the corresponding old DEBs should still be on your machines so you can uninstall using: sudo dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/archives/*mesa*0ubuntu3_*.deb Then logout and login again and see if the issue is gone?
