Sorry, I have to add some (new) information: I strongly believe that, at least in my case, the problem is due to not-accessible network printers. More precisely, if the dialog box tries to display information on a not-reachable printer, the program freezes for several seconds. This is true even if the dialog was already open and you click on such a printer. On the other hand, if the window opens with "print to file" as the default printer, the program is not blocked.
However, after some testing, I encountered the same problem with other software: I tried Epiphany, Gedit and Geany. Other users affected by this issue can confirm this?
