Done all you asked me, sorry for the inconvenience, I've never reported a bug before. I also noticed that this bug happens with suspend. Just a black screen and the mouse pointer(wich doesn't freeze by the way). Doing CTRL-ALT-F1 doesn't switch to the console. Just in case it's relevant, I'm using a Toshiba P300-194 laptop.
