Interesting! Installing with "sudo apt-get install nautilus-share" generated no warnings and removed no packages. The n-share package is now installed and working. Not sure why Synaptic wouldn't do it yesterday, unless some other package has been updated meanwhile.....
Just to be sure, I removed nautilus-share using Synaptic and then re- installed it using Synaptic. No warnings, no packages removed. All fine! One out of the dozens of packages updated in the last day or so must have been blocking nautilus-share, and is now compatible, I suppose. Thanks for the quick response, and for the useful package! ** Attachment added: "install nautilus-share.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26424075/install%20nautilus-share.txt ** Changed in: nautilus-share (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- no Sharing Options in Nautilus pop-up menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/373077 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
