Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I installed Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 and my Samsung SyncMaster 793MB
was not detected. The only resolutions I got to choose from were 640x480
and 800x600. Editing xorg.conf by hand is too complicated for me. I've
attached the manual for the monitor.

I've reinstalled Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 where I configured my monitor
with displayconfig-gtk, but it's no longer available in Jaunty
Jackalope.
