Alexander, My issue is not getting things to work properly, I can fix that one by myself. My main concern is the thousands of users that use this, only to get it broken in Ubuntu 9.04. (and most of them don't have a clue how to fix this) Thus I am providing contributions about this bug so hopefully this won't be a long standing issue.
