Hi Freddy, I am having the same issue as Paul, all I get is a gdb console and firefox never runs...
Apart from that, I don't think extensions are an issue in this case since it also happens on a completely blank and new profile. But here they are: Plugins (see attached file). I do have Flash 9, I am aware of the issue of ARGB stuff on 16 bit color. I have 24 bit color depth, and the crashes happen when browsing non-flash stuff. Mmm extensions: * Adblock 0.5.3.043 * Adblock filterset.g updater 0.3.0.4 * All-in-one gestures 0.18.0 * All-in-one sidebar 0.7.1 * BugMeNot 1.3 * CustomizeGoogle 0.55 * Email this! 1.4.2 * FireFTP 0.94.6 * Gmail manager 0.5.3 * Gmail notifier 0.5.6.5 (disabled) * Greasemonkey 0.6.6.20061017.0 * PageZoom 0.3.3 (this one I installed yesterday, I've been having problems since I installed Edgy a couple of months ago). * PhProxy 2.0.1b * Sage 1.3.9 * Shortship 0.8.5 * Slashdotter 1.8.8 * Tab mix plus 0.3.5.2 - about this one: some of its funcionality overlaps with new stuff in FF2, the extension is clever enough to ask the user what to do about this. I said: let's use FF2 built in funcionality when possible, that is, FF2 controls session management for example * Wizz RSS news reader 2.1.6 (disabled) -- Firefox randomly crashes https://launchpad.net/bugs/48772 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
