It looks like two different symptoms, which _might_ be two different bugs: 1. My bug, which seems to be Bug #310864: Flickering on DVI-connected displays, which sometimes gets worse at higher CPU load. With "flickering", I mean the DVI screen actually going blank for guessed 100-300ms. I experience it on the desktop chipset (some people on plug-in graphics cards), even with -ati GIT head. 2. The Bug #351291 Jens mentioned: Flickering under low CPU load. I read the comments, and everybody there seems to have the problem on the mobile chipset (RS690M).
