It would be useful if some people affected by this bug attached copies
of their /var/log/Xorg.0.log files so we can see which input drivers are
affected. Thanks.
Further, it's useful if someone could file a good upstream bug at
bugs.freedesktop.org (file the bug against the right input driver) and
then link the upstream bug to this bug using the "Also affects project"
link just below the yellow strip at the top of this bug report. That way
if upstream fixes we bug we get notified and we can package the bugfix
for ubuntu. To get the bug fixed, it's important that the person who
files the upstream bug answers any questions the upstream developers
asks.
