Public bug reported: Suspend/resume still fails in jaunty with this laptop. This report was generated with the a/c power plugged in.
Behavior with A/C power plugged in: -Appears to suspend normally. Power light goes off, sleep light is on. -Press the power button, and the laptop tries to power on. Then it shuts itself off again. Then it turns itself on again, but just sits there and does nothing, for as long as you wait. -Hold down the power button to turn the system off. -Press the power button, and the system boots normally (no resume) When the system is running on battery power, the behavior is slightly different: -Appears to suspend normally. Power light goes off, sleep light is on. -Press the power button, and the laptop tries to power on. Then it shuts itself off again. -Press the power button, and the system boots normally (no resume) Hibernate/resume works fine. It's just suspend/resume that doesn't work. This happens 100% of the time. ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly.
