Hello! Exact same problem on a Samsung r510 with 4gb (2x2gb dual kit)
ubuntu x64, opensuse x64 and fedora x64 will not work with 4gb. However if i pull a 2gb stick out they all work. I have noticed a few of us have samsung laptops.
