After another few attempts, hours of configuring and reconfiguring I'm stuck in the same place. Kwin works on swx11 software rasterizer, but extremely slow:

Segmentation fault Any attempt of enabling UXA ends with a total crash, green glitches, and accessing TTYs is impossible while being at the logging in stage (if I actually manage to reach that stage). So, it seems that apart from current problems with Intel driver, etc. something has permanently changed my settings which make the use of UXA or EXA rendering impossible. I could make a clean install, but I'd rather focus on available solutions without doing so. -- [i965gm] Corrupted X after enabling UXA, unable to log into KDE (UXA bug) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364479 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
