After another few attempts, hours of configuring and reconfiguring I'm
stuck in the same place. Kwin works on swx11 software rasterizer, but
extremely slow:

Error AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so failed
(/usr/lib/dri/i965_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory)
Error AIGLX: reverting to software rendering
Error AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so failed
(/usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory)
Error GLX: could not load software renderer
From config file AT Translated Set 2 keyboard: xkb_rules: "evdev"

direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting
LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose)

Glx doesn't work:

name of display: :0.0
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

Any attempt of enabling UXA ends with a total crash, green glitches, and
accessing TTYs is impossible while being at the logging in stage (if I actually
manage to reach that stage).

So, it seems that apart from current problems with Intel driver, etc.
something has permanently changed my settings which make the use of UXA
or EXA rendering impossible. I could make a clean install, but I'd
rather focus on available solutions without doing so.
