The same for me :( I've a Thinkpad T42. Everything was perfect with Intrepid, but now that I've upgraded to Jaunty, almost everything (including the startup etc) seems to be slower.
But the main problem is with maximizing/minimizing/starting windows, as everyone said.. The maximizing/minimizing effects are nowhere around smooth, and it's like there's a delay time of 1-2 seconds in all of these events. I see a slowing of graphic applications compared to Intrepid.
