I had the same problem after upgrading to Jaunty from Intrepid, but uninstalling/reinstalling digikam fixed the problem for me.
$sudo apt-get install digikam- $sudo apt-get autoremove # got rid of the old libkipi0 $sudo apt-get install digikam My system now has libkipi6 installed instead of being stuck with libkipi0. Of course, if you have other things installed that also depend on libkipi0, you will have to uninstall them all first before being able to remove it. Try 'aptitude why libkipi0' to find out what you've got installed that depends on it. -- libkipi 0.1.6-2ubuntu3 failed to upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312757 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
