Is it possible that evtouch causes the freezes? (too) I get no freezes when I use my touchpad, but when I use the touchscreen X crashes after a few minutes (or seconds) and I have to restart X with <alt>+<print>+<k>.
I also experienced freezes in kuki (aspire one distro, intrepid based) after I installed evtouch and no one else had freezes posted on this distro. (because they have no touchscreen?) And evtouch is installed in Jaunty (UNR) anyway, right?
