  Using the Jaunty alternate 1386 cd - partitioned using lvm/reiserfs
  except for "/" which is primary ext4 - the install progresses part way
  through installing the base system and then stops with a request to
  insert the cd labeled jaunty _jackalope...   At this point, the only
  option is to reboot.  I ran integrity test and md5sum on the cd and it
  passed.

+ I just downloaded the released version of Ubuntu 9.04 alternate install
+ CD.  When I tried to install it I found the same problem still exists
